A charity built for the recovery that is hardest to fund.

We restore the mental and psychological wellbeing of those who served. Below is what we do, what we deliberately do not do, how we operate, and where we work.

Our Mission

When the fighting stops, the hardest recovery begins.

Modern support for those who serve is measured in equipment and supplies. But equipment does not carry a person home from what they have seen. The Phoenix Foundation exists for the recovery that is hardest to fund and easiest to overlook — the mind.

I.

Psychological Recovery

We fund evidence-based mental health care — trauma therapy, PTSD treatment, and clinical rehabilitation — delivered by accredited practitioners for those exhausted by war.

II.

Return to Life

Recovery does not end in the clinic. We support the return to family, work, and stability — the practical footing a person needs to rebuild a life worth living.

III.

Dignity & Confidentiality

Every case is handled with discretion and respect. We serve the individual, not the headline. No one is asked to become a story in exchange for care.

What We Do — and What We Do Not

A deliberately narrow focus.

Large organisations move drones and humanitarian cargo, and they do it well. We deliberately do not compete there. Our mandate is singular: the recovery of the human being.

What we are not

  • We do not procure military equipment or drones.
  • We do not run large-scale humanitarian logistics.
  • We do not duplicate the work of national relief agencies.
  • We do not measure success in tonnage delivered.

What we are

  • We fund mental and psychological recovery for service members.
  • We coordinate clinicians, charities, and units into one pathway.
  • We finance recovery through structured, accountable appeals.
  • We measure success in people who reclaim their lives.
How We Operate

A foundation that connects, funds, and delivers.

The Phoenix Foundation is a coordinating charity. We rarely act alone — we bring the right organisations together and finance the work through disciplined, transparent campaigns.

Step 01

Identify Need

Partner units and clinics refer service members who need mental recovery support but lack the means to access it.

Step 02

Connect Partners

We match each case to accredited clinicians and specialist charities, building a single recovery pathway around the person.

Step 03

Fund the Work

We finance care through coordinated appeals and awareness campaigns — every appeal ring-fenced to its purpose.

Step 04

Report Outcomes

We track completion and publish outcomes. Partners see exactly what their contribution restored.

Where We Work

From the United Kingdom outward.

We began in the United Kingdom because international donors and investors place their trust in accountable, well-governed British charities. From that foundation we have extended into NATO partner nations — and we are now opening our first programmes inside Ukraine, where the need is most urgent.

“I came back but I never really came home. The therapy Phoenix funded was the first time in three years I slept a full night.”
